KSRTC launches ‘Wave hand to stop bus’ service

Mysore: The KSRTC has launched a novel initiative ‘Wave hand to stop bus’ service at the Mysuru City Bus Stand here yesterday.

The women passengers flagged off ten buses bearing Route No.244. The bus route is, City Bus Stand-Jayapura-Hampapura-Hommaragalli-Kolagala-Kote Hand Post and then returns in the same route to the City Bus Stand.

The passengers can wave their hands and stop the bus anywhere in the middle on this route. Students, physically challenged, senior citizens and regular commuters can make use of this facility.

On the occasion, KSRTC Divisional Controller (City Service) M.N. Satish Kumar and others were present.
