KSRTC must keep an eye on erring Flybus drivers

February 29, 2024

Sir,

I agree that Flybus service is excellent but KSRTC must keep an eye on their erring employees. Sometime back I travelled from KIAL to Mysuru by Flybus that left T2 around 10.30 pm and reached Mysuru around 2.30 am.

I was unable to sleep as the driver was talking loudly on  his mobile phone during the entire journey.

It was not only that the passengers’ safety was compromised but it was unfair on the driver’s part to disturb the passengers, who generally sleep during that hour.

I hope this was an isolated incident.

However, KSRTC should get the mobile call records of all their drivers and warn them if they are on their mobile phones for an extended period of time during their period of duty.
