Kudos to VV Puram Traffic Police

July 29, 2022

Sir,

Apropos the letter appearing in this column “Disaster waiting to happen?” (Star of Mysore dated July 19) and the photo news item “VV Puram Traffic Police avert disaster waiting to happen” (Star of Mysore  dated July 20), kudos to  VV Puram Traffic Police Inspector and his team for immediate action based on a letter appearing  in this column.

Such competent, pro-public and pro-active Police personnel are definitely an asset to the Police Department.  By taking an immediate action, the department has mitigated the woes  faced  by the motorists and the  pedestrians using 2nd Main Road  of Vontikoppal and also for the residents of this street.

Hats off to Star of Mysore for supporting and highlighting  the social  causes for the benefit of  the general public.
