Kukkarahalli Lake walking track needs to be renovated

January 9, 2021

Sir,

The walking track in Kukkarahalli Lake is neither conducive for walking nor jogging. The track has not been upgraded for a long time.

I am a regular walker here on this track that is filled with uneven jelly stones throughout making it difficult for the walkers and joggers. Even I have seen some brisk walkers tumbling and in the process injuring their ankles or knees.

This being winter season, it becomes dark early in the evening and thereby the walkers find it all the more difficult. Unfortunately there is no proper lighting in Kukkarahalli Lake.

Hence I appeal to the authorities concerned to make the track even throughout preferably by putting slabs on the track and also install lights at frequent locations for safe and comfortable walking.
