Mysuru: As part of Dasara Kavi Goshti, famous humorous poets presented Vinoda Kavi Goshti at Jaganmohan Palace here this morning.

About 20 humorous poets including Dr. B.R. Lakshman Rao, Dundiraj, Shivashankar and Asadulla Baig presented poems filled with rib-tickling humour.

Dundiraj presented a poem in Kannada which meant ‘Every man is a Modi before marriage but transforms in Manmohan Singh after marriage.’ Continuing in another poem, he meant “There are only two types of husbands – one who are afraid of their wives and another who claim they are not.”

A humorous poetic jugalbandhi between Lakshman Rao and Dundiraj on simple family matters was very humorous.

The programme was inaugurated by actress Mayuri. Panchama Halibandi and team presented Sangeetha Goshti.
