Lecture on ‘Significance of Hindi in the World of Globalisation’

The Department  of Hindi, St. Joseph’s First Grade College, Mysuru, had organised a special lecture by Dr. Prathibha  Mudaliyar, Department of Hindi, University of Mysore, on ‘Significance of Hindi in the World of Globalisation’ at its premises in Jayalakshmipuram here recently.

Dr. Prathibha stressed on the power of language and stated that Hindi has a special identity.

Principal Prof. C.M. Mani presided over the function. Dean (Academic) Prof. Mallikarjuna Setty was present.

Sushma, HoD of Hindi, introduced the chief guest. Pauline and Afrin Taj of 2nd semester B.Com recited Hindi poems. Nanditha Nayak of 4th semester B.Com welcomed.  Anmol of 4th semester B.Com compered. Shobha, Assistant Professor, Department of Hindi proposed a vote of thanks. Kenneth of 2nd sem BA rendered a Hindi song.
