CCTV at neighbour’s house captures incident at Shanthaveri Gopal Gowda Nagar

Mysuru: A leopard entered the compound of a house at Shanthaveri Gopal Gowda Nagar in the early hours of today, killed a pet dog tied there and carried away its carcass.

The incident, which occurred around 4.30 am, was captured on a CCTV camera installed in a house opposite.

The footage shows the leopard approaching the gate and cautiously stalking the dog from outside. After sitting still for a while, it leapt into the compound, killed the dog and carried it away.

When the residents woke up in the morning, they found bloodstains on the floor and the dog missing. They checked the CCTV footage from the neighbouring house and saw the leopard carrying away their pet after killing it.
