Mysore/Mysuru: “In a developing country like India, science, technology and sustainable development assume great significance”.

“The rural and urban girls should play a vital role in the development of nation after obtaining higher education in Science and Technology,” observed Dr. Sudha, at the inauguration of the Life Science Exhibition conducted by Government Women’s First Grade College, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, in city recently.

The event held as part of National Science Day, was jointly organised by Dr. C. Hemavathi, Head of the Department in Botany and Zoology and Dr. Shivaprasad, Head, Department of Chemistry, of the College.

The prog. provided a meaningful platform for the development of scientific temperament, creativity and talent of students. 

College Principal Dr. Satish Babu, faculty members and students actively participated in the event.
