Lokayukta Police receive complaints

Mysuru: Lokayukta Police, headed by Dy.SP K.B. Swamy, received complaints at Chamundi Guest House here yesterday.

Residents of Banki Nawab Street in Mandi Mohalla, Sarvamangala and others filed a complaint alleging that a person had been running a hotel without licence in the vicinity and no action had been initiated by MCC despite filing a complaint on July 5.

In another complaint, M. Nataraj has alleged irregularities in MCC Zone 8 office with respect to site number 3458A (new number 10A). Complaints were also filed with respect to demand for bribe in Sub Registrar’s Office, Taluk Office, MCC Zonal Offices.

Lokayukta will receive complaints from the public till July 25 from 11 am to 1 pm at all taluk headquarters in the district.

July 18: Mysuru Taluk Office; July 19: T. Narasipur Taluk Office; July 20: PWD Guest House, H.D. Kote; July 21: PWD Guest House, Periyapatna; July 22: PWD Guest House, Hunsur; July 24: Taluk Office, Nanjangud;  July 25: PWD Guest House, K.R. Nagar.
