Mahadevamma (80), wife of retired ASI late B. Madegowda and a resident of Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, passed away yesterday in city.

She leaves behind her sons (Mysuru Mithra News Editor N.M. Mahadeva and senior journalist N.M. Basavaraju), daughters (N.M. Kamala, N.M. Shantha and N.M. Gayathri), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this morning.
