Mysuru: The Indian Institute of Educational Theatre (IIET), Mysuru, has organised the book release and interaction programme for the Kannada translation of ‘Mahatmana Magalu’ (The Mahatma’s Daughter), the autobiography of Madeleine Slade, popularly known as Mirabehn (Meerakka). The book has been translated into Kannada by Manjunath Chand.

Mirabehn, whom Mahatma Gandhi accepted as his own daughter, offers a deeply personal account of her life and experiences with Gandhi.

The book will be discussed by Dr. O.L. Nagabhushanaswamy, writer, critic and retired Professor; Sneha Samatha, Lecturer; and H.M. Kalashree, retired Professor and writer. Senior theatre director Prasanna and Manjunath Chand will be present.
