Make Kalidasa Road footpath pedestrian-friendly

February 1, 2018

Sir,

Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) is doing a yeoman service by beautifying the footpaths of majority of roads in Mysuru, making it pedestrian-friendly. Though some roads do not have much pedestrian movement, MCC has undertaken civil works to beautify such footpaths also and to make it walkable.

But unfortunately, Kalidasa Road has skipped the attention of MCC. This is one of the busy roads with a crowded footpath. The footpath is totally undulated inviting risks to the pedestrians. Pedestrians cannot walk on the ever-busy Kalidasa Road also, especially from Panchavati Circle towards Vijayanagar.

Hope, MCC will open its eyes and save the public by making Kalidasa Road footpath pedestrian-friendly.
