‘Makkala Habba’: Over 500 children participate

Mysuru: Vanaranga in Kalamandira premises this morning was buzzing with activity as over 500 children from Anganawadi Centres, Balamandiras and other organisations in the taluk congregated for ‘Makkala Habba’ (Children’s festival). The festival was jointly organised by District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Balavikasa Academy, Dharwad and Department of Women and Child Welfare. The children performed group dance and were dressed as historical characters at the event inaugurated by ZP President Nayeema Sultana.
