Malangi Somashekarappa

Malangi Somashekarappa (96), retired Assistant Director of the Department of Industry and Commerce and a resident of Saraswathipuram, passed away yesterday in city. He was the cousin brother of former MP late M. Rajashekar Murthy and former Union Minister late M.S. Gurupadaswamy.

He leaves behind daughter Suma, son-in-law Chandru, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Veerashaiva Burial Grounds in Lalithadripura yesterday.
