Man burns son’s mini lorry, car as wife refuses to come home

August 27, 2017

Mysuru: Angered over his wife for not coming to the house from her son’s residence, a man burnt the mini lorry and a car of his son at Bada Makhan here on Friday.

The man, who burnt the vehicles, has been identified as 55-year-old Khaleem Pasha, a resident of Pension Block in N.R. Mohalla.

Khaleem’s wife Noorjan had quarrelled with her husband and was residing with her second son Suhail Pasha in Bada Mahkan. Though Khaleem had put pressure on Suhail to send his (Khaleem) wife back, Noorjan is said to have refused and had stayed put in Suhail’s place.

Angered over this, Khaleem on Friday afternoon, took petrol and poured it over a mini lorry and a car, parked in front of the house and set it ablaze, said N.R. Inspector Ashok Kumar, who has taken Khaleem into custody and is investigating.
