Tricolour flies high: Pramati Hillview Academy

Retired ISRO Scientist C.D. Prasad was the chief guest during the I-Day celebrations at the Academy premises in Kuvempunagar. Students displayed lezim and yoga. School Secretary H.V. Rajeev presided. Treasurer S. Phaniraj, Principals C.S. Sudarshan and Sharath Kumar, staff, students and parents witnessed the event.

Al-Kabir Nursery, Primary and High School: I-Day was celebrated at Al-Kabir School in Bannimantap  with Prof. Nabi Jaan, HOD of Sociology at Government First Grade College, Srirangapatna, hoisting the National Flag. Khaleel-ur-Rahaman, President and Reshma Samiulla, Secretary of Al-Kabir Educational Society and others were present.

Vanitha Sadana, Krishnamurthypuram: Lt. Col (retd.) Rajendra hoisted the National Flag on I-Day. Lions Club Secretary B.R. Mukunda was the chief guest. Vanita Sadana Trustees B.R. Ravi, Srinivasa Rao and Secretary Padma Anand were present. Later, students presented patriotic prog.

Senior Citizens Welfare Association, Vijayangar: Association President Kalegowda unfurled the Tricolour at a function organised near Raju Corner in 2nd Phase, 4th Stage, Vijayanagar. Association Members and residents took part in the event.

The Graduates Co-operative Bank, Chamaraja Double Road: Dr. V. Ranganath hoisted the Tricolour. Bank President T.S. Ravishankar presided over the event. Bank Vice-President M.A. Hemalatha, Directors R. Anantharamu, K.G. Satish, Sujatha Venkataraju, C. Kamalamma, Dr. K.V. Lakshmidevi and Dr. Sujatha S. Rao were present.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya: Vidyalaya Chairman H.N. Ramathirtha hoisted the Tricolour in the presence of Principal Sujatha Jayaram, Head Master Gopalakrishna Joshi, HM V. Dakshayini, staff and students.

Genius College of Science & Commerce: College President G. Prabhu hoisted the Flag. Principal Surekha Prabhu, staff and students were present at the event which included march-past and cultural prog.
