Man held for allegedly assaulting KSRTC driver

Mysore/Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider was taken into custody by the Police for allegedly assaulting and abusing a KSRTC driver on duty near Five Lights Circle in city recently.

When the KSRTC bus was passing over a road hump near the Five Lights Circle on Mysuru-Bengaluru Road, the two-wheeler rider reportedly took a sudden turn resulting in the bus brushing against the two-wheeler.

When the bus moved ahead, the two-wheeler rider, who overtook the bus, stopped in front of the bus, barged into it, abused the driver using foul language and allegedly assaulted him, the video of which has gone viral on social media.

Lashkar Police, who rushed to the spot, took the two-wheeler rider into custody, registered a case and are investigating.
