December 28, 2019

Mysuru: The Hunsur Police have arrested a man on charges of getting  passport through fake documents. Ramizulla Khan, a resident of Bazar Road in A. Nizam Mohalla of Hunsur town, is the one who is arrested.

Ramizulla had obtained a passport in 2011 by submitting alleged fake record regarding his birth date and also claiming to have studied at Hunsur Urdu School.

Now, Ramizulla again applied for a fresh passport on Dec.4 and succeeded in getting it. But he was caught during verification of records, following which the passport authorities lodged a complaint with the Hunsur Town Police, who later arrested him.

Ramizulla was produced at a court, which remanded him to judicial custody.
