Mysuru: The Forest Mobile Squad personnel have arrested a man who was transporting deer skin on a bike near Maramma Temple at K. Yedathore village in  H.D. Kote taluk.

The accused is 27-year-old Srinivas, a resident of Karapura village in the taluk.

The Mobile Squad personnel have recovered the deer skin and have seized a Bajaj CT-100 bike used for the crime from him.

The squad has launched a hunt to nab another accused Prasanna, who is absconding.

Mysuru Forest Mobile Squad in-Charge Sub-Inspector M.B. Ramesh and staff Venkatachalaiah, H. Narasimhamurthy,  L. Manjunath, Pradeep, Somanna, Ponnappa, Manjunath, Ganesh, Devappa and others took part in the nabbing and seizing operation.
