VVCE student bags 6 gold medals at VTU Convocation

Mysuru:  Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), which has more than 200 engineering colleges under its affiliation, conducted its 18th Annual Convocation at its headquarters in Belagavi on Mar.18.

Mysuru girl Meghana Prakash from Vidya Vardhakha College of Engineering (VVCE) clinched 6 gold medals, securing first rank in Electronics and Communication Engineering. With a percentage of 88.52, she was the topper among all the rank holders in any branch of B.E.

Meghana is currently working in a private company and plans to do higher studies. Speaking to SOM, she said “Understanding the concepts helped me score better in the exams.”

Meghana is daughter of R.S Prakash, Surveyor & Loss Assessor  and Sandhya Prakash, a home tutor. Her sister Mridula Prakash is working at L&T Technology Services in city.
