Man killed in scooter mishap

Mysore/Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a 45-year-old two-wheeler rider died on the spot after falling off from his scooter in J.P. Nagar here this morning. The deceased is identified as Balaraj, a resident of Medar Block in city. Balaraj was travelling on his Honda Activa scooter from J.P. Nagar towards the city, when the scooter reportedly skidded and fell down near Vidyaranyapuram Police Station in J.P. Nagar at about 10.15 am. As a result, Balaraj, who sustained severe head and body injuries, died on the spot, it is learnt.

K.R. Traffic Police conducted mahazar and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary.
