Man run over by train

Mysuru: A 40-year-old man was run over by a train near B.M.Sri Nagar in city yesterday. The deceased has been identified as Kumar, a resident of B.M.Sri Nagar and a native of Hullahalli in Nanjangud.

Kumar, who is a labourer, was reportedly walking on the track at about 4.30 pm, when he was run over by a train coming from Hassan side, in between B.M. Sri Nagar Railway crossing and KRS Road level-crossing section of the track. Railway Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary.
