Mysore/Mysuru: ‘The Beginning of Us – A Celebration of Hope & Joy,’ an inspiring event brought together couples who have already experienced the joy of parenthood through fertility treatments and those who are still on their journey at an event held at Manipal Hospital in city recently.

The event showcased promising advancements in reproductive medicine and their life-changing potential.

With the participation of over 105 people, who have successfully conceived through treatments at Manipal Hospital Mysuru and those hopeful of overcoming their fertility challenges, shared the experiences, cutting-edge medical insights, and a strong sense of community.

Presiding over the event, Dr. Nivedita Shetty, Director and Consultant – Reproductive Medicine (IVF) at Manipal, spoke about rising concerns of infertility challenges and novel innovative reproductive techniques such as Embryo Pooling, Blastocyst Transfer and Pre-implantation Genetic Testing (PGT).

Encouraging the audience and reassuring them about the promising results of these innovative reproductive techniques, she stated, “While Hope is the foundation, Science is the bridge that helps us cross these hopes and reach the reality. In reproductive medicine, techniques like embryo pooling, blastocyst transfer and PGT have emerged as true game changers. The gathering also marked the launch of a Special Fertility Package, offering discounted initial screening and imaging tests for new registrations until Oct. 31, 2025.
