Manish wins Tennis title

Mysuru lad G. Manish, a product of Mysore Tennis Club and a 2nd PUC student of Sapient PU College, Mysuru, clinched the U-18 Boys Singles title, in the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament conducted by Namma Sports Academy at J.P. Nagar in Bengaluru on Tuesday.

In the finals, Manish scored a well earned 6-0, 6-2 win over Amith Routh to clinch the title.

Earlier in the semi-finals, Manish beat Vishnu 9-2 and in quarter-finals, Manish got the better of Aaush P. Bhat 9-5 and in the pre-quarters, scored a convincing 8-0 win over Pranav Hegree. In the first round, Manish beat Anurag Agarwal 8-7 (2) to progressed further.
