Mysore/Mysuru: The Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre, organised a grand May Day celebration dedicated to honouring the invaluable contribution of construction workers.

The event commenced with a mega health check-up camp, in association with Narayana Hrudayalaya, which was inaugurated by MBCT Managing Trustee N. Subramanya.

A series of sports activities were also held for over 250 construction workers.

The celebration was attended by distinguished persons including actor Shankar Ashwath as chief guest. District Labour Officer Chetan Kumar and actress Tanishka Shetty  were the guests of honour. BAI Chairman K.R. Prabhakara Rao and Hon. Secretary M.D. Praveen Pal were also present along with Spoorthi team.

On the occasion, 10 skilled artisans were honoured for their long-standing dedication and service to the construction industry and builder firms.
