Mayor urged to restore bus shelter near Kamakshi Hospital

January 5, 2019

Mysuru: Senior Citizens Forum, Rajarajeshwarinagar, has urged Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath to restore the bus shelter near Kamakshi Hospital, in the larger interest of the public as they visit the hospital regularly.

In a letter to the Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner and Mayor, the Forum has said that the bus shelter near Kamakshi Hospital in Saraswathipuram is very essential as hundreds of patients, women, children and elders board the bus and alight at this bus stop.

In fact a year back the Elders Forum had appealed to the MUDA Chairman as well as the Mayor to provide better seating facilities at the bus shelter, according to a press release from the Senior Citizens Forum Secretary R. M. Chetty.
