MBCT extends support to construction worker

Mysuru: The Mysore Builders’ Charitable Trust (MBCT) has lent a helping hand to construction worker Chandrachari, who met with an accident while engaged in construction work of a residential building.

This incident took place near Hinkal when Chandrachari, who was doing bar bending work, came in contact with a live electric wire and got severely injured and the co-worker Naveen who came to his rescue lost his life on the spot.

Chandrachari, who was undergoing treatment in K.R.Hospital, had to get both his hands amputed.

MBCT, after learning about this tragic incident, came forward in support of Chandrachari and the Trustees recently handed over a cheque for Rs.50,000 towards his medical treatment.
