MCC cautions hotels, canteens to maintain cleanliness

April 19, 2018

Mysuru: With the district reeling under summer heat, Mysuru City Corporation  (MCC) has taken all preventive steps as a precautionary measure to arrest the outbreak of an epidemic.

MCC has asked all hotels, darshinis, canteens and fast food joints to provide hot water to customers. They have been instructed to maintain hygiene and cleanliness at the place, wash utensils with detergent and hot water and mop the floor with insecticide. They have also be asked to provide gloves and caps to people serving food.

MCC has also asked hotels to maintain good toilets and not to carry forward unsold food. Street vendors selling cut fruits have been asked to store the fruit pieces in closed glass chambers.
