MCC, Health Department conduct workshop for Beauticians

June 7, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: In a bid to provide suggestions and guidelines to beauticians, the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) and the Health Department conducted a workshop at the Town Hall here yesterday.

More than 60 beauticians participated. The MCC and the Health Department officials asked the beauticians to collect the address, mobile phone numbers and other details of every customer visiting their beauty parlour.

The beauticians were also told to compulsorily wear face masks, hand gloves, use sanitiser and arrange the seating for customers in such a way so that the customers could maintain social distancing. The officials also told the beauticians to strictly follow all rules and regulations issued by the Government.

MCC Health Officer Dr. Nagaraj, Health Department officials Dr. Sudheer and Prakash provided all necessary information to the beauticians. Workshop for hair-dressing professionals would be held on Monday or Tuesday, according to MCC officials.
