Mysore/Mysuru: The MCC Main Office on Sayyaji Rao road, which was shutdown on Tuesday after a staff tested COVID-19 positive and the District Law Courts Complex and the New Court Complex at Malalawadi in Jayanagar, which were shut on Wednesday after an advocate tested positive, will re-open on Monday.
MCC Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde said that although the MCC Office was supposed to re-open on Thursday after a two-day shut down, has not been opened as the Lab reports of the primary contacts of the infected employee is yet to come. Also, as Saturday and Sunday are Government holidays, the MCC Main Office will re-open on Monday, he said.
As far as the two City Courts are concerned, Mysuru Bar Association President M. Anandkumar said that although the proceedings in the two Courts were supposed to resume today (Friday) after a two-day shut down, the proceedings will resume only on Monday as per the direction from the Principal District and Sessions Court Judge.
Meanwhile, the Office of the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic), located on Vinoba road in Shivarampet, which was sealed down on July 2 after a lady Constable tested COVID-19 positive, is yet to re-open.
