Mysuru: The Mysuru District Journalists’ Association (MDJA) will be presenting annual awards tomorrow (Nov. 30) at Rajendra Kalamandira (Mini Auditorium) on Ramanuja Road in city.

The function will be inaugurated at 10.30 am by Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha and the awards will be presented by Theatre Director and Actor Prakash Belawadi. Chief Minister’s Media Secretary K.V. Prabhakara will deliver the keynote address. DC D. Randeep will be the chief guest and MDJA President C.K. Mahendra will preside.

The awards will be presented to K.V. Sampath Kumar  (Editor – Sudharma), Renuka Tumbasoge (Reporter – Prajanudi), Bapu Lingaraje Urs (District Correspondent – Kasturi News Channel), T.N. Hemanth Kumar (Camaraman, Dijvijaya News Channel), H.L. Sharada Dutt (Senior Sub-Editor, Vijaya Karnataka) and Nethra Raju (Senior Photographer).

This apart, Harish L. Talakadu, Reporter, Vijaya Karnataka, will receive the Best Kannada Reporter Award and Photojournalist Anurag Basavaraj will receive the Photographer of the Year Award.
