April 10, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: Following publication of a news item on shortage of blood in Blood Banks (SOM dated Apr. 3), the members of CII Young Indians, Mysuru, donated blood to the needy patients. This noble initiative was led by Bharath Devarajappa.

The reason attributed was that donors were not being able to visit the place of donation due to the covid-19 lockdown.

Around 30 members donated blood to K.R. Hospital Blood Bank as part of their continued support to the needy and nation-building activities.

They also donated necessary sanitation items to quarantined patients at the Covid Hospital.

Dr. Manjunath, Pradeep, Nikhil, Bharath, Rahul, Rohan, Manasa, Indu, Chiranth, Aruna, Kiran & others donated blood and received appreciation certificate from K.R. Hospital.

Anyone interested in donating blood can contact Bharath on Mob: 98862-18553, according to a press release.
