Millets Mela: Winners of Drawing & Cooking contest

Mysore/Mysuru: Veteran Journalist Nagesh Hegde distributed prizes to the winners of drawing and cooking contest conducted as part of the two-day Millets Mela organised to mark the International Millets Year by Sahaja Samruddha in association with Using Diversity and GIZ Germany at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry in city on Sunday.

Cooking Contest

Sweet dishes – Padma Nagaraj – 1st; Indramma Thimmegowda – 2nd; Kempamma Chandrappa – 3rd.  Spicy dishes – Savithri Kodli – 1st; Manjula Anand – 2nd; Rani Shivappa – 3rd.

Drawing Contest

Below 4th Standard Category – S. Niyathi – 1st; Prarthana Ramesh – 2nd; Vittala Narasimha – 3rd; 5th to 10th Standard: Manasa – 1st; Anirudh – 2nd; Mahesh – 3rd.

The judges for the cooking contest were Jamuna, Bhagyalakshmi and Shwetha while for drawing contest it was artist Shivu. Veeraghase artiste Ambale Shivanna, Agricultural Scientist H.V. Divya, Sahaja Organic CEO B. Somesh, Samrudha Director G. Krishna Prasad and others were present.
