Even as CM Siddharamaiah asserted that there was no need for George to resign, JD(S) State President and former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy (HDK) said that it was not appropriate to demand George’s resignation at this juncture where only an FIR had been registered.
Speaking to press persons here yesterday, Kumaraswamy said that it would be fair to demand George’s resignation at the stage when the CBI uncovers strong evidence against him.
Stating that he will not demand George’s resignation at this juncture, the former CM said that registering an FIR is a routine procedure when cases are registered and it has become a common affair to register FIR’s in the present day politics.
