Mysuru: Vidyaranyapuram Police, on Mar.5, have arrested four burglars including two minors on charges of committing house burglary in Vidyaranyapuram on Jan.26 and have recovered gold ornaments, laptop and two mobile phones from them.

The arrested have been identified as 19-year-old Srikanth of Raghavendranagar and 18-year-old Vijendra Kumar of Yeraganahalli in city. Based on the information provided by them, the Police have also taken two minors into their custody.

Following interrogation and information provided by the accused, the Police have recovered 340 grams gold ornaments worth about Rs.10 lakh, one laptop and two mobile phones from them.

DCP Dr. Vikram V. Amathe and K.R. Sub-Division ACP M.N. Dharmappa supervised Vidyaranyapuram Inspector G. Omkarappa, ASI Shanthakumar and staff Nataraju, Maheshwar, Manjunath, Shivashankar, Umesh and Radhesh in the nabbing and recovery operation.
