Miscreant snatches teacher’s gold chain at Hebbal

Mysuru:  A miscreant has snatched a gold chain of a teacher who was walking near Sankranti Circle on Tuesday afternoon.

The teacher, who lost her gold chain, is Gangamma, who was working at Sumukha Educational Institution in Hebbal.

She was proceeding near Sankranti Circle on Tuesday afternoon towards her house when the miscreant, who came from behind, snatched her gold chain weighing about 45 grams and worth about Rs.1.5 lakh and fled in a scooter, which he had parked at a distance. A case has been registered at Hebbal Police Station in this regard.
