Miscreants break car glass, decamp with Rs. 45,000

H.D. Kote: Miscreants, who broke open the glass pane of a car, have made away with the cash kept inside of it at H.D. Kote yesterday.

The person from whom the money was stolen, has been identified as Kumaraswamy, a resident of Annur Hosahalli in the taluk.

Kumaraswamy, who wanted to sink a borewell, withdrew Rs. 45,000 cash from State Bank of Mysore (SBI), H.D. Kote Branch yesterday morning and kept it in his Maruti Swift car. He then proceeded towards a clothing store for some shopping. When he returned to his car, he found the rear glass pane of the car broken and also the cash kept inside the car, missing.

Circle Inspector Puttaswamy, Sub-Inspector Madavanayala and other officials visited the spot. H.D. Kote Police, have registered a case and are  investigating.
