Miscreants break open car window, steal Rs.14 lakh

Mysuru: Miscreants have decamped with Rs.14 lakh kept in a car after breaking the glass window at Yeraganahalli in city.

The person, who lost the money, is Harish, a resident of Mandya. Harish, after receiving Rs.20 lakh from his friend had come to his father-in-law’s house at Yeraganahalli here.

After taking out Rs.6 lakh from the cash bag, Harish kept the remaining Rs.14 lakh in the car and went to the house to give the cash to his father-in-law.

Harish, who returned after having lunch, found the glass window of the car broken and the cash bag missing.

Police have suspected that the miscreants may have followed Harish from Mandya and committed the crime.
