Miscreants hurl lit cracker on house

Explosion cuts off power; family panics

Mysuru: Occupants of a house panicked when two bike-borne miscreants allegedly threw a high decibel ignited cracker (Atom Bomb) on the house on Thursday night.

The house, located on 8th Main Road near Sankranti Circle in Hebbal here belongs to Rajendra, an employee of a private company.

The explosion of the cracker resulted in power getting cut off with the panicked family members rushing out of   the house.

NR Sub-Division ACP C. Gopal, Hebbal Police Inspector T. Chaluvegowda and ASI Krishnegowda visited the house. On going through the footage of CCTV camera installed at the neighbouring house, it was learnt that the cracker was hurled by two bike-borne miscreants.

Speaking to Star of Mysore Rajendra said that the family were watching TV at 10.15 pm after finishing dinner and added that there was a big explosion of a cracker which cut off the power supply panicking the family. He claimed that objects in the house too got scattered owing to the explosion.
