Miscreants snatch gold chain from elderly woman

Mysore/Mysuru: Targeting elderly and lonely women, scooter-borne miscreants have snatched a gold chain from a 60-year-old woman at N.R. Mohalla here last evening.

The victim is Sudha. According to Police, Sudha at about 7.30 pm had gone to a shop near her house and after purchasing a few things was returning home when two miscreants on a scooter, who came from behind, yanked off her 20 gm gold chain and sped away.

NR Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
