Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Swasthya Mitra-2020‘ award was conferred on ten achievers from different fields at a programme organised at Arogya Bharati office in Kuvempunagar here on Tuesday.

The awardees are: Dr. S.P. Thirumala Rao of Mysore Grahakara Parishat (MGP), University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar, well-known city paediatrician Dr. Vamanrao Bapat, Urologist Dr. Prakash Prabhu, DCP (Crime and Traffic) Geetha Prasanna, renowned Ayurveda Practitioner Dr. Guru Basavaraj, Government Ayurveda College, Mysuru, Principal Dr. Gajanana Hegde, Government Ayurveda Research Centre Assistant Director Dr. Lakshminarayana Shenoy, District Hospital Ophthalmologist Dr. Chetan Kumar and city’s Janachetana Trust President Prasanna Gowda.

Mysuru Ramakrishna Ashram President Muktidanandaji graced the occasion.

Rajyotsava awardee Dr. A.S. Chandrashekar, Mysuru City Co-operative Bank President Umashankar, Yuvaraja’s College Asst. Professor Mahesh, Arogya Bharati President Dr. Asha, Vice-President Dinakar, Divisional Co-ordinator Arunachalam, Murali, Convenor S.B.M. Prasanna and others were present during the award ceremony.
