Miscreants snatch gold chain from woman riding scooter on Ring Road

Mysore/Mysuru: Bike-borne miscreants have snatched a gold mangalya chain of a woman, who was riding pillion on a scooter in front of Kalyani Hotel on the Outer Ring Road on Dec. 17 evening.

The woman, who lost her gold mangalya chain, is 40-year-old N.S. Bhagya, a resident of Madegowda Circle at Hebbal here and an employee of a private company at Hebbal Industrial Area.

Bhagya was on her way to her place of work riding pillion on her colleague Lakshmi’s Honda Activa scooter (KA-55-L-0117) at about 5.50 pm, when two miscreants, who came on a bike sans number plate, yanked off the gold mangalya chain Bhagya was wearing and sped away.

A case has been registered at Hebbal Police Station in this regard.
