Miscreants steal money from temple hundi

Mysuru:  Miscreants have broken the lock of a hundi (offering box) at Sri Seetharama Temple near Marimallapa’s College and have decamped with the money in it.

According to the complaint lodged at Lakshmipuram Police Station, miscreants, who entered Sri Seetharama Temple, which is under the administration of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Mutt in the wee hours of May 31 have decamped with the offerings in the hundi after breaking open the lock. The exact amount stolen is not known.
