Miscreants steal Rs.1 lakh cash from actor Vinod Raj’s car

Bengaluru:  In a reported incident, miscreants have stolen Rs.1 lakh cash from the car of actor Vinod Raj after diverting his attention at Nelamangala near Bengaluru on Friday.

Vinod Raj, who drew Rs. 1 lakh from a Bank at Nelamanagala for paying his farm workers, stopped his car near CNR Textile Showroom in Nelamangala town, when two unidentified miscreants approached him calling themselves as his fans.

After talking to the actor for a couple of minutes, the miscreants drew Vinod Raj’s attention by saying that a tyre of the car had punctured. Soon as the actor turned to inspect the tyres, the miscreants stole Rs.1 lakh cash from the car and escaped in a flash, it is learnt.

The Nelamangala Police, who have registered case in this regard, are investigating.
