Mysuru lawyer files case against Cong. Social Media Chief Ramya

Mysuru: City based advocate B.R. Dinesh has filed a case against the Head of All India Congress Committee Social Media Team, Divya Spandana (Cine actress Ramya), at Lakshmipuram Police Station of the city for a recent photo tweeted by her of Prime Minister Modi.

In her post, she had called PM Modi a ‘chor’ (thief) questioning him for not responding to allegations on the controversial Rafale deal. Dinesh said that her tweet was derogatory. “The PM represents our sovereignty and republic. It was a disgrace to our nation. It amounts to sedition charges for insulting the Prime Minister of the country,” he said.

Stating that lakhs of people of the country had viewed this post, he demanded severe action against her. Lakshmipuram Police have registered a case and started the investigation.
