MLA flags off ‘Covid Captain Campaign’

Chamarajanagar: MLA C. Puttarangashetty flagged off ‘COVID Captain Awareness Campaign’ here yesterday. The purpose of this Campaign is to create awareness among people about precautions to be taken to check the spread of Coronavirus.

The concept behind this was to identify the COVID patients in home isolation in rural areas and shifting them to nearby Covid Care Centres (CCCs).

B.B. Cauvery, Director, Directorate of Municipal Administration, Deputy Commissioner Dr. M.R. Ravi, Superintendent of Police Divya Sara Thomas, ZP CEO Harshal B. Narayana Rao, Additional Deputy Commissioner S. Katyayinidevi, Tahsildhar Chidananda Guruswamy and others were present.
