MLA launches various development works in Chamaraja Constituency

Inaugurates RO drinking water unit at Lakshmikanthanagar

Mysore/Mysuru: Chamaraja MLA L. Nagendra launched various development works worth Rs. 1.70 crore (MLA fund) by performing ‘guddali puja’ near Panduranga Temple in Mandi Mohalla this morning.

The works being taken up are; Ashoka Road development works at a cost of Rs. 75 lakh, re-asphalting of Geetha Mandir Road costing Rs. 20 lakh, re-asphalting Kabir Road between Mandi Police Station and Ashoka Road at a cost of Rs. 20 lakh, development of Sriharsha Road at a cost of Rs. 25 lakh and development of the road from J.K. Grounds Signal Light up to MCC Zone 6 Office on Seshadri Iyer Road at a cost of Rs. 30 lakh.

RO Drinking water unit inaugurated: MLA Nagendra also inaugurated the RO Drinking Water Unit on Golden Bakery Road in Lakshmikanthanagar this morning.

The RO Unit was installed at a cost of Rs. 12.30 lakh from the 14th Finance Commission Grant. 

Mayor Tasneem, MCC Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde, Junior Engineers Chandrashekar, K. Mohan and others were present.

Yesterday, MLA Nagendra launched various development works taken up at a cost of Rs. 40 lakh at Ward No. 25 in Tilaknagar.

The works taken up are roofing of auto stand on Pulikeshi Road at a cost of Rs. 15 lakh and construction of footpath on the 2nd Main Road in Tilaknagar at a cost of Rs. 25 lakh from SFC grant.

The MLA has instructed the contractor to maintain quality in the works. Ward 25 Corporator Rangaswamy, MCC Zone-6 Assistant Commissioner and Development Officer Nagaraj, MCC Engineer Chandrashekar and others were present.
