MM Hills temple earns Rs. 1.49 crore cash through hundi collection

Kollegal:  MM Hills temple in the taluk has earned Rs. 1.49 crore cash through hundi collection.

The hundis were opened for counting at 7 am on May 29 under the supervision of MM Hills Development Authority Secretary M.J. Roopa and Sri Guruswamy of Sri Salur Mutt at the commercial complex near bus stand. The counting earned Rs. 1,48,90,538 in cash together with 90 gm of gold and 1.46 kg of silver.

Deputy Secretary Rajashekar, Superintendent M. Basavaraj, Accounts Superintendent Mahadevaswamy and SBI Manager Senthilnathan were present. MM Hills Police had provided adequate security during the counting process.
