I-Day was celebrated at the College premises in Krishnamurthypuram with staff and students taking the  ‘New India Pledge’ on the occasion. Ravishankar, President of Parent-Teachers Association, was the chief guest. Degree College Principal Prof. Sainath Malligemadu and PU College Principal Prof. M.V. Asha, Student Welfare Officers Vinodha and Jayashree were present. Various cultural programmes were given by the students.
