Mysuru: BJP heavyweights including PM Narendra Modi, BJP National President Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath will kick off Lok Sabha election campaign trail for BJP candidates.
PM Narendra Modi will address six rallies in the State, said legislator Arvind Limbavali in a press conference here on Tuesday.
By addressing poll rallies in two places, Chitradurga and Mysuru, on Apr.8, Modi will be officially launching Lok Sabha election campaign for BJP candidates.
The PM is also scheduled to campaign at Mangaluru and Bengaluru on Apr.13, Chikkodi and Gangavati on Apr.18.
BJP President Amit Shah, who was in Bengaluru yesterday, will was also campaign on Apr.10, 12, 17 and 20 at Davanagere, Hassan, Tumakuru, Kolar, Kalaburagi, Vijayapura and Dharwad respectively, he said.
Yogi Adityanath will address rallies in Bengaluru Rural, Chamarajanagar, Tumakuru, Bidar and Bagalkot. Former CM of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be addressing rallies at Karwar and Haveri.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is yet to finalise the dates for the campaign in at least 5 to 6 Constituencies, said Limbavali.
